Click on the upper posting tab. Then near the bottom, click on the previous post tab. Then click on the number of the last comment. Gee, I almost forgot how to do this just in the time it took me to write it.
Returned from Vegas late Tuesday. Will be going to Laughlin on Sunday. Will return on the 27th. Will depart for Tunica on the 28th.
Diamond Lounge changes for all of Harrah's properties in Atlantic City. Effective June 13, 2011, admittance to the Diamond Lounges are only free to the following: Seven Star members and those Diamond members that either last year or so far this year have reached the 25,000 tier score.
If you are not in the above categories, it will cost you 1,000 reward credits every time you enter one of their Diamond Lounges. Bring in a non-diamond guest and you will lose an additional 2,500 reward credits for each guest. Keeping in mind that 1,000 reward credits is the equivalent to $10.00. For you and a non-qualifying guest it is the same as paying $35.00.

Hi all,
Just returned from Tunica. All the casinos have reopened. At Harrah's the Casino Towers is closed, but hope to open on the 16th.
I am sending out invitations for The Horseshoe of Southern Indiana, July 8-11. It Includes a slot tournament. The top 4 winners will also receive a free Cruise for the Millionare Maker Tournament.
On Monday we will be advertising two new Laughlin flights. They are:
Green Bay, Nov. 2-5
Milwaukee, DEC. 7-11
For you north woods people to flights from Mosinee to Atlantic City, Oct. 27-30 & Nov. 17-20.
Just a FYI. Atlantic City tells me that have improved the food in all of their Diamond Lounges. Of course this means that if you are not a seven star member or did not have at least 25,000 rewards credits this year or last year it will cost 1,000 reward credits every time you enter the Diamond Lounge. 2,500 for each guest.
For you Vegas people. I have been receiving invitations for some summer tournaments. If I have at least 20 that could agree on which tournament I would try to set up a flight.

Many people are telling me that they read this blog ( I doubt it ), but that they don't know how to post their comments. How do you guys do it?
Of course if the world really ends tomorrow it wouldn't matter.
Just returned from 14 days in St. Louis. Two flights that were supposed to go to Tunica were diverted to St. Louis. I like it there, but, two weeks is a long time. There are offering a free ride to the arch every day. They drop you off at about noon and pick you up at about 4:30. I took it on Sunday, went to church, then had lunch at the Spaghetti Factory, then walked over to a casino. Only about a 15 minute walk.
I am told that my May 29 Tunica flight from Green Bay will go to Tunica. They say that both the Horseshoe and The Roadhouse will be open.

Many of you have already heard that Tunica is under a flood watch. All of Harrah's Tunica properties will be evacuated by Monday. Most, if not all, May charter flights from Wisconsin will be diverted to St. Louis. This is a great opportunity for those guests that would not qualify for St. Louis to visit their casino/hotel.
So if you have always wanted to gamble in St. Louis but had never received an invitation, sign up now.

We have a new Laughlin flight from Milwaukee. It will be August 24-27, 2011.
That is late in August so I believe that the day time temperatures should not be over 120.

Last Friday I meet with a representative from the Hoseshoe in Bossier City, LA. Of course they want me to start bring people there. Has any body been there? What are your thoughts?

Still waiting to hear from Ak-Chin. For those of you that like St. Louis. We have a trip from Milwaukee, May 6-9. We still have a few seats on the June 10-14 Las Vegas flight from Milwaukee. Some people are saying that it is too hot in Vegas during June, July & August. I think the casino's are air conditioned. I might have to skip those months and start Vegas in Sept. Most likely will also do Oct. & Nov. Want to do at least two more from Appleton before December. Was in Vegas last week. The machines were so TIGHT that I lost $22.00. Going to Tunica on Monday, maybe I can win back my $22.00. May the good Lord keep you all safe and healthy. Jim

Just received the following charter flights to Atlantic city from:

Milwaukee, July 28-31
Mosinee, Aug. 25-28
Green Bay, Sept. 21-25
Most of you have heard me say that my two favorite destinations are New Orleans & Atlantic City, so I am really looking forward to more AC trips.

For those of you that get invited to the commercial flight trips, I added St. Louis from Milwaukee, May 6-9.

Please don't wait for me to up date this blog. I usually spend more time in casinos then in my office. Please check out the web site at fun-day.com

I will be escorting an over night bus to the Island Casino in MI on Sunday & Monday. Then back to Vegas on Fri.

Finally, I am back in WI for more then two days at a time. Maybe I can get some work done.
Spent most of the last three weeks in Vegas and Laughlin. Really nothing new in either city.
I told every one on the plane, returning from Laughlin, on Fri. that the slot machines were very tight.
I was out $17.00. If you feel sorry for me, I do accept donations, clothes, housing, food, cars, jewelery. Alright, I'm just kidding. But not about the money, I was really out $17.00.

The question has came up too many times for me not to respond. My company Fun-Day, Inc was founded in 1988. I started doing charters for Laughlin in 1995 and for Harrah's in Laughlin in 1998. I was the ONLY WI. rep for Harrah's at that time. It was my job to fill all of the planes from WI.

Later Wojo Tours convinced Harrah's to let him put people on the flights.

We are competitors.

I have not set up any Vegas flights for July or Aug. Last year most people said that it was too hot and they did not want to during the summer.
Your thoughts?

Ak-Chin tells me that their new hotel will be ready by late July.
I will check back with them after that.

Is the Grand Casino in Bossier City worth going to?

Two new Harrah's are been built in Ohio. One to open this year and the other to open in 2012.

Ak Chin Casino told me that they do not have enough rooms in their hotel to handle groups, but as soon as they add more rooms, I can set it up. If any of you get there let me know the progress of the new hotel.

This is for all 4 of the people that read my blog. Sorry that have neglected keeping this up-dated.
Will try to do better, but as you know I am really not around much.
Good news. St. Louis wants us back. Will try to set up a flight in spring.
Reno/Lake Tahoe also wants me to bring in a group this spring, but, I can not find a direct flight from WI. I do believe that if you want to go there you should be willing to change planes. Let me know your thoughts.
Las Vegas from Appleton has become difficult. Allegiant Air, they fly direct from Appleton, dissolved their group tour booking department. I can not buy tickets and later give Allegiant names. Must have the names first, then buy tickets in those names. They will not allow name changes. So if you sign up for Vegas out of Appleton, the ticket is purchased in your name, if you don't go, you will be billed the full cost of your ticket.
Which Harrah's properties would you like to go to?
If enough people want the same place, I will be happy to set it up.

Thanks for the info about the tram. Will look for it when I'm back in Vegas, first week in Nov.
A few changes. As of now there will not be any charters going to Reno/Lake Tahoe in 2011. Reno wants me to bring guests out on commercial flights. If anyone knows if there are direct flights from WI. to Reno please let me know.

Atlantic City is trying to cut back on their charters. They will let me have a flight out of Milwaukee in March if I agree to fill 100 seats. Do any of you want to go to AC and could you bring 50 friends?

We have added some Tunica flights, check the web site @ fun-day.com
My web master keeps the flights up to date, but don't look at the bus schedules.

Going back to Laughlin on Thursday. Must leave home by 3:30 am. It is a 8:15 am flight. First time that a Laughlin flight has left before noon. Maybe I should drive to Milwaukee Wed. night. But then I would spend all of my gambling money ($50.00) on a room.

Hi,
Got back last night from Vegas. lots of weddings on 10/10/10, but not me. The Flamingo alone had 72 weddings that day. Went to see Donnie & Marie Osmond, it was so, so. Saw Human Nature, wonderfil show. They were just voted "best singers in Vegas".
Will leave Friday for Council Bluffs. Beside gambling Harrah's is giving all of my people a ticket to the Carrie Underwood Concert.
New flights out this week, from Milwaukee, include:
Laughlin January 13-17
(for those that qualify for Vegas)
Las Vegas, April 1-5
Las Vegas, May 13- 17
I'm supposed to hear from Tunica on Oct. 20 about Wisconsin charter flights for the first quarter of 2011.

Just got back from Atlantic City, love it there, but it was raining and windy and they wanted to take my money. Going to Vegas on Friday. Planning on going to a couple of shows. Diamond card holders receive two free show tickts for certain shows. A lot of shows there with people that I never heard of. Help me out here. Who or what is:

Hi all,
Just got back from Vegas this afternoon. Will go back next Friday from Milwaukee to visit my money. Played in a poker tournament last night, never won a hand. Saturday will escort the bus to the Island Casino for the Beach Boy Concert. Will go back with a bus on Monday just for fun. Of course you all know that the more you win the more fun it is.
All September flights are sold out, but if you want to go, put your name on our wait list. We usually have a few that cancel.
We still have 5 seats available on the Oct. 15-28 flight to Council Bluffs. This includes concert tickets for Carrie Underwood.
Most of the other October flights have just a few seats left.

sorry for not keeping up. This was the week that the roofers came and new gutters should be installed Thursday. The hail did a number on my house.
Leaving for Tunica on Sunday. Will try to get rich. I did not get rich last week in Atlantic City. But AC is still one of my favorite spots.
If you are the Laughlin flight from Appleton next week, lucky you, I can't be on that flight, so you will have Betty. Be kind to her.
Ak-Chin near Phoenix tells me that their hotel is too small. Therefore they will not let groups on flights come in. They are planning on building a new hotel, maybe then.
Does anyone read this?

For those of you that went with me to council Bluffs, thanks for your patience with all of the plane delays. We did set up another flight to C.B. on Oct. 15-18 with a Carrie Underwood concert included.
I'm home for a few days. Good thing as I had hail damage while I was gone. Need a new roof, garage door and siding.
We still have 5 seats left on the Appleton to Vegas flight Aug. 29-Sept. 2.
Just added Atlantic City from Green Bay, Nov. 18-21.

Hi all,
Back from Vegas. Was in 2 poker tournaments. Each one started with about 1,500 people. First day made it past about 1,150 of those to get to the final 350. I was eliminated on the 5th hand. Had pocket queens, lost to pocket aces.
Second day, again made it to the final 350. Came in 149 th place. Of course they only paid the top ten. It was fun and took up a lot of time.
Sunday going to Tunica from Green Bay. It will be hot and humid.
Put in my request for more Vegas trips today. Hope to hear back soon.
Have renewed my contract for the Horseshoe of Southern Indiana.
Am waiting for them to set up a couple of dates.
